Austin C. Myers, MD is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He graduated from Ross University School of Medicine in Portsmouth, Dominica and completed his Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency training at East Carolina University / Vidant Medical Center in Greenville, NC.
As he started pre-med courses, Austin was diagnosed with Stage IV Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. While he knew he wanted to pursue a degree in medicine before his diagnosis, that year of treatments just helped solidify his decision. Now, as a 13 year cancer survivor, he is passionate about making a difference in people’s lives. Dr. Myers is excited to finally come home to the mountains after being back east for ten years. For his family, Pocatello is a great fit. For our community, Dr. Myers brings some unique skills to the practice, including interventional spine therapies.

Great with explaining things to patients. Very nice.
— Jacksonville, NC
Yes, I would recommend Dr. Myers to family and friends. He remained professional, worked quickly, and still made me feel comfortable. I actually enjoyed talking with him and learning more about his work and his work experiences. His compassion and ability to explain what was happening or going to happen helped my visit run more smoothly with a minimum of discomfort given the EMG electrical shock procedure.

My first visit to Dr, Meyers was very educational. He is a good listener, compassionate and was very thorough in the exam, and explained treatment plans at my level. The procedure went well and I had less discomfort than I expected. It has been 2 weeks since the procedure, and I am very pleased with the outcome.
