Christopher Michaeles, MD is a board certified cardiologist. He attended medical school at St. George’s University, completed his internal medicine residency at Maine Medical Center in Portland, Maine, and finished his cardiology fellowship at the University at Buffalo School of Medicine.

For Christopher, medicine has always been fascinating. When he discovered that he could do something that he loved and help people at the same time, he knew medicine was a perfect fit. Recently, Christopher has found a passion for the role of nutrition in treating heart disease and health maintenance; as such, he completed a certificate program in plant-based nutrition at Cornell. He is a strong advocate for a whole food, plant based diet.

When it comes to his patients, Dr. Michaeles wants them to know that they have complete access to him. Making his patients feel cared for is his number one priority. Knowing that his patients have somebody who truly cares, motivates him to offer the best care possible.

When Christopher is not practicing medicine, you can find him outside. He enjoys alpine and backcountry skiing, fly-fishing, hiking, fat-tire biking and dogsledding. Christopher is excited to be practicing cardiology in beautiful southeastern Idaho.
