Elizabeth Smedley, NP holds a family nurse practitioner certification. She completed her Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) from Walden University, and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Idaho State University.
Her nursing career included several years at State Hospital South where she was employed as a psychiatric technician while completing her Bachelor’s degree. After earning her RN, she started on the Medical/Surgical floor at Summerlin Hospital in Las Vegas where she pursued an in-depth training program in the operating room. She joined the surgical heart team at Summerlin. She completed her master’s degree at Idaho State while working in the CVOR at Portneuf.
Urology was an excellent fit after graduation and it has become her new passion. She enjoys specializing in female urological issues including urge and stress incontinence, and recurrent infections. She takes the time to get to know her patients, and their specific needs. Her goal is to treat all aspects of urological health, so patients have the best possible outcomes. As a previous OR nurse she loves assisting the urological surgeons in surgery. She performs consults in the hospital, and well-rounded care to all urological patients in the office.
Her personal interests include the great outdoors, running, riding motorcycles, family time and friends.
