Heart and Lung Surgeons
Rachele Roberts, RN, MSN, AG-ACNP began her nursing career in the Adult Level I Trauma Center at Wishard Memorial Hospital in Indianapolis, IN. She worked in the surgical trauma intensive care unit after completing her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing at Ball State University. She continued to serve the community caring for the next 21 years in intensive care units, including neurological, medical, burn and cardiovascular.
While working at Emory University, cardiovascular care became her next passion and led her to pursue a Master of Science degree in Nursing at Walden University to become an adult-gerontological acute care nurse practitioner after graduating in 2018. She began her advanced practice nursing career in Denver, CO where she worked as a cardiovascular nurse practitioner to coordinate and start a new ECMO program and achieved the ELSO Silver Path to Excellence Award. She transitioned to Structural Heart and successfully achieved the Transcatheter Valve Certification with the American College of Cardiology.
She is proud mother of three beautiful children – one son and two daughters – whom she enjoys hiking, camping, and skiing with. She loves running and has completed several marathons and triathlons.
