Vascular Services

The Idaho Vein Center is a state-of-the-art vascular laboratory that is fully accredited with Intersocietal Commission for the Accreditation of Vascular Laboratories (ICAVL). As one of few accredited labs in the state, we offer a fully equipped procedure room and a comprehensive ultrasound suite onsite, eliminating the hassle of going offsite for services. We use the latest technology to remove varicose veins and spider veins with great success and minimal discomfort. We also offer treatment for leg pain and swelling, arterial disease and other vascular problems.

Varicose Vein Outpatient Procedures

  • Endovenous laser ablation (or EVLA) - Used to treat varicose veins
  • Phlebectomy - Used to remove surface veins that bulge outward
  • Ultrasound guided sclerotherapy - Used to treat smaller varicosities that are symptomatic

Vascular Lab

    • Peripheral venous ultrasounds
    • Peripheral arterial ultrasounds
    • Extracranial cerebrovascular (carotid) ultrasounds
    • Visceral vascular (abdomen) ultrasounds
  • PADnet Arterial Testing and Regional Coordinator
    • Screening program for peripheral arterial disease (or PAD)

TIRS Ulcer Treatment

  • Treatment offered to Wound Care patients with current ulceration
  • The treatment uses injections to relieve venous hypertension around an ulcer which can speed the healing duration from months to weeks
