Gastroenterology
Brandon Scott, DO is a board certified gastroenterologist. He completed medical school at A.T. Still University in Kirksville, Missouri, and finished his residency and fellowship at Franciscan Health Olympia Fields hospital in Olympia Fields, Illinois.
Brandon chose to pursue medicine because he wanted to have a personal impact in the lives of his patients. It is rewarding to help people stay healthy and maintain a good quality of life.
The field of gastroenterology fascinated him as he can diagnose and treat various gastrointestinal issues through endoscopic procedures, including, screening to delay or even prevent the onset of colon cancer. He enjoys this challenging field of medicine and appreciates the comprehensive exploration of multiple systems in the body.
Brandon is excited to be back home in southeastern Idaho. After living in the Midwest since 2011 for medical education and training, he is glad to be closer to family, and to be able to enjoy the mountains and all the area has to offer.
